World's first ever 9 star hotel!

Now that got your attention did it not? Sorry to disappoint you but this post is not really about a nine star hotel, but please keep on reading as there is no 7 star hotel either (well...not yet at least) as the star rating system of most countries that I know of does not exceed the star rating of five stars. This is a post about how media are manipulating our perceptions of truth and how we seem to be accepting at face value anything we read. Ethics in food and beverage service.

Hoteliers and restaurateurs often perceive their existance simply as one that is there to satisfy consumer wants or needs. That fact often creates an industry that cares only for profits without thinking of the longer term implications. Food and drink is an important part of our business and we often do not consider the sustainability issues or the ethical aspects of serving a particular food item in our menus. I have and will always argue that part of our responsibility is to also educate our customers. Grouped Viva Questions – for the support of mini Vivas or Mock Vivas
