If I had a cookie for every time I was presented with a Research Problem and the presenter thought it was a research question, well I would have a full cookie jar :)
Researchers often confuse a research problem for a research question, PhDs think they have to solve all of the world's problems whilst some Consultants may think the theory is never needed. The answer may never be black or white but rather a lot of Greys depending on the area you are researching and more true to the Social Sciences research. In this video, I try to help various stakeholders from students to consultants (please use a bit of theory it strengthens your research design to deliver better answers) to even dissertation supervisors who may be confused as to what the difference between a UG to MSc or can't find the words to explain it... The research questions formulated are not the best but that's the point we are showing the process of developing and redeveloping the research question depending on the level of the researcher...
