No Regrets and Thoughts about Hospitality Leadership !

 

Don't regret the things you lost! Be happy you had them in the first place. No Regrets! Look forward to the future, be happy for the past BUT LIVE in the Present! YOU may think this is sound only but it is indeed a video this is how Dark it was! I could barely see anything so the video content is true of the conditions! Episode 4 of the walk in the woods philosophies, this one came to me a few days ago when a retired colleague was reminiscing of the good old days when some Hospitality departments were alive and kicking AND thriving. I have also lost and STILL MISS many colleagues and great times but I am hopeful that what we are experiencing is an evolutionary point in time for hospitality. Today morning our walk with Wolfie began at 6am. Darkness and terrible conditions embraced our walk and by 6:47 there was still no light in the woods and my thoughts about regret engulfed me again so I took the mobile out and recorded these 40 odd seconds. Three days in. arow we had amazing sunrises and today was the day we had to pay the price for glorious sunrises of the days before. I do realise that I see metaphors everywhere and my message may seem corny to some but I can't help to be who I am :D The phone needed drying later but both Wolfie and I are safe and Happy for our adventure yielded these thoughts.
