Why academics ask their students to avoid newspaper articles and magazines when researching for an assignment..

The irony of course may be that the original image has also been manipulated by someone and then shared via social media (the circle and writing seems alien to the rest of the style) so its funny how the message also extends to...do not trust social media...either...
