I tend to often tell people to celebrate their successes, yet I am as guilty as the next person for forgetting to celebrate the good moments... The two moments I am talking about were the receipt of two books last month.The first one is the 5th edition of Food and Beverage Management. It was great fun working with Andrew and Peter for this edition and I think its about time we had that party Peter promised during the 4th edition...
I hope people continue to find this book a good introduction for early UG students.
The second book is one edited by two good colleagues in Events Management. Paul and Nicole worked very hard on this and I think it will be a good addition to any Events Management specialist library. I am honored to have contributed the chapter on Events and Hospitality Management. I wish both Paul and Nicole a great success and many more editions in the future.And finally a promise to do more of what I preach and try and celebrate a little more often... Spring is around the corner and I have the BBQ ready, I think is time to catch up on all the celebrations I have so far missed :)
