Ioannis Hospitality thoughts of 2011

The end of this year is closing in really fast on us and before we know it it will be 2012...

I hope that 2011 has been a happy and productive hospitality year for you, it certainly has been (and continues to be) for me.

Together with my very best wishes for a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I wanted to share some thoughts that I have been posting on social media that I have been calling...Life Lessons.  These thoughts where ignited by various hospitality situations that occurred to me in 2011 and you may find some truth in them...or not... either way they are my Christmas gift to you.

Hospitality Life Lessons of 2011:

1. Real Generosity is a timeless breeze that flies way past the fields of ego...

2. Take time to Celebrate your friends happiness it is as important as supporting them in time of sorrow.

3. Considering yourself an expert increases the risk of forgetting that there is always more learning to be had.

4. To merely focus on the destination is sterile; taking time to enjoy the trip is fertile!

May you enjoy a calm holiday season with loved ones by your side.
