Santander University of Brighton Masters Scholarships
Up to eight scholarships of £5,000 each, funded by Santander Universities, will be available for new taught postgraduate study at the University of Brighton for eligible students starting their programmes in Autumn 2011.
The taught postgraduate scholarships are for one year only and cannot be deferred to a later year.
These scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic excellence and preference will be given to students who have completed their first degree at one of the universities in the Santander network.

FURTHERMORE and specific only for the MSc Food Services and Wellbeing Management :
Students should submit their postgraduate application as soon as possible to have a chance of being awarded one of these scholarships.
As the only course available in the area it will look at the origins of food, diet and wellbeing, and the significant growth of these areas over the past few years.
On the course there also will be the opportunity for students to study an elective module taught in English at LaSalle Beauvais in France.
The course would appeal to professionals in the food service industry who want to gain further knowledge, entrepreneurs who wish to explore and develop a food service and wellbeing enterprise and graduates who want to pursue a career in food services and wellbeing management.

£4,000 scholarships available to study our new Food Services and Wellbeing Management MSc
The School of Service Management are offering 10 scholarships worth £4,000 for UK / EU students to study the new Food Services and Wellbeing Management MSc. This is a new course beginning in September 2011.Students should submit their postgraduate application as soon as possible to have a chance of being awarded one of these scholarships.

8 x Santander University of Brighton Masters Scholarships worth £5,000 (as a tuition fee discount) each for students who meet the following criteria:
a) hold an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to a one year, full time UoB Masters programme in any subject
b) be a national from, and be residing in, one of the following Santander Universities network countries:
· Argentina
· Brazil
· Chile
· China
· Colombia
· Mexico
· Portugal
· Puerto Rico
· Russia
· Singapore
· Spain
· Uruguay
· U.S.A
· Venezuela
c) be expecting to have, or already have, a good UK bachelor honours degree or equivalent degree from their home country
6 x Santander University of Brighton Formula Masters Scholarships worth €5,000 (as a tuition fee discount) each for students who meet the following criteria:
a) hold an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to a one year, full time UoB Masters programme in any subject
b) be a national from Brazil and have studied at a Brazilian university OR be a national from Spain and have studied at a Spanish university.
The allocation of all these scholarships will be made by a panel based upon academic excellence and preference will be given to candidates who have studied at a Santander university (a list of all current Santander Universities network members is attached).
In order to apply, students should email santander@brighton.ac.uk, quoting their UoB student number and confirming their eligibility as outlined above. An application form will then be provided for their completion. The deadline for applications is 12noon on Friday 27th May 2011.
