Projects by me - for Hospitality researchers.

The following are some examples of my  projects.

These are presented here in a random order:

1.   The  Menu Museum
This is an online archive of restaurant menus, it was created with the student in mind but also the teacher and the researcher.  It can be utilised for a number of areas of research from design to pricing to understanding cultures.

2. The the Solar Cooker project
This is a series of solar cooker experiments, I am interested in consumer perceptions and the potential of adopting this ancient technology in countries that do nat have optimal sun conditions.

3. Hospitality and Refugees
Even though the media have quietened about the largest crisis in our lifetime it does not mean it has gone away. I am currently working with stakeholders on the island of Leros Greece but I am very much interested in research that amplifies all stakeholders voices especially those linked to hospitality.

4. Digital, mobile, social media and Hospitality.
Mainly through the consumer behaviour lense but also through the management lense I continue to investigate how technology impacts hospitality and allows it to either evolve or devolve! Talk to me and I shall explain :)

The beauty of Tourism and Hospitality is that it is a field of learning opportunities for anyone willing enough to open their eyes, ears and mind. There is so much content right now on YouTube, on Ted Talks, on open access journals that you really are running out of excuses. So stop procrastinating and make a decision are you ready to take on the challenge of deep exploration?  This page will auto-destruct in 3sec.... oh wait a minute wrong movie! This page will probably exceed the life span of many a restaurant or hotel endeavors :)
